Whiz-Tail and the Guardian of Whys
In the forest of Silly-Shush, questions are forbidden. One squirrel asks them anyway.

“Don’t ask questions, stay quiet and shy, trouble finds those who ask too much why!”
This is the strange rule of Silly-Shush, a forest where every animal trembles in fear of the terrible Guardian of Whys. Everyone, that is, except for Whiz-Tail, a lively squirrel who simply cannot stop asking questions.
Can one tiny, curious voice defeat such a giant fear?
Written throughout in verse. Published in Italian, English and French — and in Italian also in a prose version alongside the one in rhyme: the same story, two ways of reading it aloud.
